We got both Christmas trees decorated, and our exterior lights hung.

What is Your Holiday Style?

Lately, I have seen a lot of beautiful Christmas decorating post, from the blog world.

It has made me curious.

What is your holiday style?

Do you classify your holiday decorating style, as traditional?

Do you have ornaments, that have been handed down to you? Do you put the same ornaments on your tree every year?

Or

Do you change the look of your tree and your style every year? Do you find yourself, always renewing your arsenal of Christmas decor?

I am actually, a little of both. We have two trees in our home. One is a little tree, that I change up every year. The other has ornaments that my kids have had since they were babies.

For my little tree this year, I will be decorating it in coppers, browns, and golds. While my other tree will have a more natural rustic feel to it.

Above are some new goodies I bought to add to my Christmas arsenal.

This weekend I made a couple of quick, inexpensive burlap stockings to hang around the house. To add another, simple, rustic element.

I would love to hear from you.
What is your Holiday style?

You never know what you'll find.
Like these cute little reindeer, made from wood logs and branches.

I behaved myself, and only bought a couple ornaments, but

I'm Itching

To start decorating for Christmas, that is.

You might remember this guy

He has been sitting in my closet on a shelf, since I posted about him here, back in September.

Just begging me to hang him.

I will refrain, at least a little while longer, til Thanksgiving is over, but then it's fair game right?

I'm curious, have you started to decorate for the Holidays yet?

I have already started in my mind:)

Have a great Day!

Holiday Floral Picks

A plant is a great gift for your child's teacher, their bus drivers, a co-worker, or maybe even a neighbor.

Just make sure to finish it off, with a cute floral pick,

for the Holidays.

This is such an easy DIY.

I designed them on my computer.

They were pretty straight forward to make.

I do recommend printing them out on card stock, so they are a little sturdier. I printed this one out on regular paper, and it is a little flimsy.

Then cut them out, and sandwich a skewer with two of the circles.

You can mix-n-match, if you like.

I put "Happy Holidays" on one side and "Thanks for helping me grow" on the other, for my child's teachers.

Then just insert the skewer into the plant of your choice.

I've included the template, if you would like to make them for yourself.

All you need to do is

go here, and print them out.

I was inspired by Brown Eyed Fox, she made similar ones for her child's teacher. This is such a simple idea, you could make them for any occasion.

I hope you enjoy!

Today, I am participating in the

DIY Day at A Soft Place to Land and
Handmade Holidays at Kathys Cottage.
Make sure to visit both for some great projects.

Advent Calendars

There is till plenty of time to make an Advent Calendar,
for this Holiday Season.

Do you remember these little shipping tags?

You can buy 100 of them for about $6 at Staples.

Here are two great ways to use them, this Holiday Season.

This is an image from Pottery Barn, from a couple years ago.

How easy would it be to make this yourself, using those shipping tags, and a blank art canvas?

Or maybe you'd prefer this one.

From Country Living.com.

Both, look like they would be pretty easy to make.

Thanks for visiting, & Have a wonderful Day!
